Will focus on the last 4, avoiding Maidenfest 2011.

TWC calling for a sunny start to the day, 30% chance of isolated T-storms as
the day progresses, will have to wait a couple of hours for the official
weather report from Frank D.

Race 8 -- Spread. Any and all insights/input appreciated.

Race 9 -- 5/2 ML fave La Reine Lionne\'s 3rd fastest TG number makes her faster
than any in this field. Her TG # at the Spa in her last race seems to say she
has her way with this field. LRL had some traffic problems in her last, but
she probably wasn\'t catching loose on the lead Shugster Hit it Rich. Chad
Brown + favorable draw + number power = post time odds 7/5? Hate to single,
but probably will here.

Race 10 Alabama -- Interesting that two posters have tabbed St Johns River,
yet she is arguably fourth fastest of the 5 likely to go based on TGs. The
fastest filly and favorite is Its Tricky, who has enough 2 turn foundation to
lead me to believe that 10 furlongs is no problem here. Spreading, will be
watching Inglorious, who just beat 16 colts in the Queens Plate and is
improving rapidly. Wish I had the nerve to toss Plum Pretty, who offered very
little resistance to Its Tricky in the CCA Oaks.

Race 11-- Singling ML 4/1 East of Danzig. This is a NYB who has been
competitive in open company. Stunk up the joint in his Saratoga appearance
while posting a top accompanied by the always intriguing \"!\". Trainer Matz
having a good meet, and did I forget to mention that Johnny V replaces Alan
Garcia?

The play: All/La Reine Lionne/All/East of Danzig for $2 = $100.

Singling two horses in turf races which, prior to reviewing TGs, looked kind of open. Suicidal?

Richie,

All clear weather wise and I can\'t get past the sizzling hot Chad Brown in the 9th.
I\'ve got a few varied opinions in the other 3 legs and we\'ll TGJB provide some insight hopefully ?

The biggest problem today will be what to do between the seminar and 4:30 when the only real wagering will take place on the late pick 4. As a total degenerate I feel I\'m at least compelled to structure a pick 6 play as it should be well over a million this afternoon ?

Good luck,

Frank D.

Race 8 - For what it\'s worth - McPeek\'s Rally Point is a half to Treasure Beach and Thunder Gulch is an under-rated turf sire.  McPeek has been ice cold!

Albert Stall\'s Animal Spirits great female side of the breeding and Arch isn\'t bad either but Stall is poor with first time turfers.

If he gets into the race Wesley Ward\'s Politicallycorrect might be worth a shot.  Well bred for the turf and working well.

Mark Casse Saturday\'s Classic is a half to Gulch Approval so he might also be worth a shot at a price.

White Hot Chad Brown\'s Fantastic Song probably goes off the favorite.

Good Luck Richiebee, you are on plan.  I think Frank D. mentioned you will be at the Spa Labor Day weekend - if this hits I will buy you a beer!

Billy:

I\'ll be there Saturday and Sunday closing weekend

I won\'t let anyone younger than me buy me drinks, so I\'m assuming drinks are on me.

East of Danzig now 3 bad races over Spa turf, probably a lazy key.

I\'ll try again tomorrow depending on weather. Another weak weekend card, hope things are better on Travers Day.

Richiebee-look forward to meeting you, and hopefully I am younger, but that could be a photo finish.  I hope to recoup today\'s losses on Fly To The Sky in the 6th Sunday.  The dam, Flying Circle was a tough, game mare that I cashed several tickets on while trained by Fawkes a few years ago.  I don\'t get the breeding to Lone Star Sky, who I never heard of. Owner is also owner of Big Drama and Little Drama, so why the cheap stallion? Her first race came off turf in slop; should do better on turf.  Will be a price, but Fawkes is ice cold, having a terrible meet.

Topcat

Easy . . . the owner of this 2yo, Walter \"Buddy\" New, owns Lone Star Sky.

Hope you had the exacta on Fly to the Sky...not a bad call at 16-1.

drbillym

Only played a small bet to win.  Will plunge when she gets on turf, preferably 6f rather than 5 1/2, but now the odds will be much shorter.  Tomorrow will play European Roullette in the 10th.  Will bet more if off turf.
