Anyone have any thoughts on the pick six at Del Mar today?

Not a pick six player Dana and did not look at the maiden until after, but leaving out the winner was a bit bizarre, if in hindsight; so be it.  What does a 2yo have to do in his first effort to merit inclusion? He ran huge, worked back very well and entered as soon as he could.

The single of Malibu Pier was ballsy and plenty warranted.  Toss out the race where her trainer admitted the race was her fault and she had won three graded heats in a row!  While perhaps not a monster the midweek blowout had veteran railbirds salivating.  Unfortunately, the boy makes perhaps his worse ride ever or she certainly wins. Raffie rides next time.

JB, I did not get the sheets for this day as the late four seemed anything but mechanical with a pair of two turn grass heats and a volatile maiden included.  Add in two false favorites, one who had little chance after the scratch and the Baffert filly who looked as bad as a horse can look going to the post.

I fully appreciate your product as the best integers out there and note that a horse I included at a big number did not show a vet scratch on your sheet.  In the last We Wanted It More ran very poorly in his debut and the trainer, as one often does added blinkers in desperation.  California, as with most jurisdictions, requires gate approval for such a change and most conditioners will usually go ahead and work the horse which this trainer did.  The work was good, followed by a very, very good half in the added equipment.  My notes say he entered July 24 with P Val, again drew the fence and scratched.  Yesterday the connections were counting their money at thirty to one, at the quarter pole before Mitchell\'s freak did not stop but widened. Modest justice as Dominguez wins the shake. bbb

I\'ll take Bejarano any time on any horse I\'m betting. Hopefully, Malibu will get some Yellow Ribbon and Breeder\'s Cup Revenge! She wants more distance any way. You sound too intelligent to play pick sixes! They\'re only for us hard-core masochists! Who else would bet a horse you haven\'t seen in the post parade?

I looked at Blanc\'s ride, and I wonder if he could have stayed inside, you seem to think he could. He needed to beat Gomez to the spot but he couldn\'t. I think by the time he made the decision it was too late. Malibu is a big beast and not the handiest creature, so I guess he figured stay out of trouble. Gomez is a terrific grass rider though. I have to hand it to him. Rosi was used to Smith\'s 10 wide affairs, she never saved so much ground before.

Mitchell has a lot of freaks these days. Seems like people are sending him poly-track specialists from all over the country, he seems lights out first time anything. No handicapping, just play anything first time Mitchell.
