Iowa Oaks / Derby

Oaks - #3 Hearts on Fire, trying to beat Daisy Devine.

Derby - #2 Sherriff Cogburn/#1 Prayer for Relief ..  The prior with a big number on the surface as a 2yo, now 2nd route off the layoff.   The latter?  Baffert doesn\'t ship unless he\'s got a live one.   As far as Astrology goes, he might roll here, but I can\'t play him that short.

And another thing.. How on earth does this outfit not have a Daily Double wager for these two races?!?!

sekrah: I\'ll add the Cornhusker.

Awesome Gem will be tough, but I think two longshots Red Lead and Black Hills are live here.

sekrah: POW!

Flip the top two and I\'m part-owner of Prairie Meadows.. Got that exacta goooood though.  Alive for the P3 to  Awesome Gem, Red Lead, Black Hills.

sekrah: Jose, Solid pick.  I\'m using Stachys and It Happened Again with the 3 I have alive for the P3.  Kinda wishing I\'d of spent a few extra bucks and thrown Stachys into it.

sekrah: Headache just gave me one.

JoseOcon: Good! it was the other that I liked.  I prefer highest odds...

drshillito: Check out the pick 3 will pays to Headache.  Little Miss Holly to Baffert to Headache paid only $101 for a buck.  That is with Daisy Devine and Astrology out of the equation. It was the lowest of all of the possibles.  Somebody crushed it.  Ken Ramsey?

JoseOcon: good you got the pick 3,

Stachys did not run well, I will play the 10 in the 10 and done for today.

sekrah: I can live without it.  I think I had my best day since the Arkansas Derby.

Always a reasonable presumption.
