Anyone see this crap?

4-1-7 is the finish.   In the stretch, the 1 drifts out, and the jockey of the 4 (about a 1 1/2 lengths behind the 1) swings in.  There\'s a little brush with the 7 who finishes 3rd.

They go into their hole for 30 minutes and decide 7-1-4 is the new result.

Let\'s just say the 4 interferred with the 7 (very very dodgy in truth thou).  Has anyone on god\'s green earth figured out why they dropped the 4 below the 1?   7-4-1 would be acceptable.   The #1 who was all over the track in the stretch and forced the 4 to move in, gets to stay in 2nd?!

Most absurd ruling ever!

I just watched the replay a few times.

In the stewards eyes (just guessing here) they think the 3rd place finisher was interfered with twice and the final interference by the winner cost her 2nd.

The judges were patting themselves (probably) on the back at such a \'brilliant\' ruling.

If it was me, i leave the winner alone and flip flop the 2nd and 3rd finishers making the winning result 4-7-1. I would have determined that the 1\'s drifting out cost the winner to alter paths and bump into the 3rd place finisher. If the 1 doesnt veer across the track, the winner stays where she was and doesnt ever bump the other horse.

Its a vicious beat if you have a 4-7 box considering the 1 was all over the shop and  you can make a serious case that her erratic behavior made the winner crash into the 3rd place finisher.

The 1 was the culprit and she wasnt cost any sort of placing, she finished 2nd and was \'placed\' 2nd. She wasnt punished at all and i think that\'s where they got it wrong.
