but I am riding the bug boy Curatolo on my filly on Sunday at Belmont.

I went back and watched his races after the posts here about how well he was riding.

They seem to run for him and the 7 lbs is a huge advantage, especially since this is a maiden claimer for 3 and up where we were already getting 5 pds from the older fillies.

We are getting 12 pounds now from a bunch of them in the race.

No idea if this will be enough to get the job done but at least we have a better chance.

Thanks so those on the board that pointed this guy out here.

Lost Cause

Good luck Cov...Like I said before the kid can ride and he is only going to get better with experience.  Hope he makes weight for your race. with a 12 pound break he might be over a couple.

TGJB

\"Thanks to those on the board that pointed this guy out here\".

Ahem. Excuse me?
TGJB

covelj70

aren\'t you someone on the board who pointed this out to me?

lol

TGJB

It was months ago, and you accused me of using math.

well, half the reason I put up the post was because I knew I would get a rise out of you since you told me to look at this kid awhile back but the other half of the post was totally sincere since Lost and others have highlighted this guy.

JB, the part of the story you are leaving out is that Castellano won the last race for us anyway.  Using the bug there wouldn\'t have mattered!!!!

I need all of the help I can get with this filly.  Screenplay was good enough on his own!

Just all in good fun.

Lost Cause

I think Sekrah was the first to point it out on the board.  I was following him before but didn\'t post until Sekrah did..

Boscar Obarra

I assume you were seeing a move up not attributable to weight. Interesting.

Just noticed this big write up in todays drf

http://www.drf.com/news/belmont-park-curatolo-makes-quick-impact-apprentice-rider

Can\'t slip nuthin past those guys.

Wrongly

Curatolo can\'t be a secret any more, he just won his second race of the day.  Paying $10.60 in the 2nd and $8.20 in the 8th on \"Chalk Player.\"  Flying Zee, Carlos Martin, getting weight on the turf!  Shame I missed that exacta.

Silver Charm

Good Luck Jim!! The Sport can be a game of inches at times so take every edge you can get.

Wrongly

Congrats Jim on yet another winner.  Bug boy was 1 lb over but got the job done!

hotspringskid

Congrats. Great ride from the kid. Shoulda bet the pick 6. Woulda took it down all by your lonesome. Amazing.

Halo Fire

So much for your jinx...ha! Congratulations covelj70! This kid is somethin\' else and the filly would not be denied
