I don\'t get why Animal Kingdom is more likely to bounce than Mucho Macho Man??? Macho still hasn\'t returned to his two year old top, and he needed spacing to get down to the 1\" he ran in the Derby. He seems much more likely to bounce to me.

Animal Kingdom\'s line is beautiful, always improving, and firing huge, neg o+, on Derby Day. All things being equal, you\'d think Ak would pair up or regress a little, which by the way would probably still win the race with the other very slow horses not really being contenders. Macho would seem like the one who\'s going to react to the 2 weeks rest.

Think this race is easy and we\'re making it hard.

Putting bounces and numbers aside, there\'s really no \'other\' reason to think AK will not run another good race. I think his \'undoing\' would be trip based rather than just not firing another good shot. For those thinking of taking a \'big position\' against AK, i\'d suggest that there might be better opportunities to take a large position against a favorite. And, its not like AK is going to be 3-5, he\'s going to pay about 6 bucks give or take, that\'s not the overbet favorite in history.

With all that said, i\'m not a favorites player, so i\'ll probably be looking to box up a few longshots in the exacta and be done with it while fulling expecting AK to beat me.

FYI - The rail is a nice spot to be today at Ol\' Hilltop. Adjust accordingly. Bonde\'s runner in the 6th was a short horse. Something to consider.

Buck, i thought Bonde\'s horse ran well, i just don\'t think he\'s much stock. He ran good \'for him\'
