Contenders and historical comparisons

Does anyone else compare Derby contenders with horses from the past, to try to supplement normal handicapping?  I can\'t help but do this all the time and here is what I\'ve come up with.  I can\'t seem to toss Stay Thirsty becase he reminds me so much of Bluegrass Cat.

Uncle Mo  -  Unbridled\'s Song
Dialed In  - Ice Box (obv)
Nehro  - Curlin
Stay Thirsty  -  Bluegrass Cat
Archx3  -  Dazzling Falls

I realize this has nothing to do with TG figure handicapping but there\'s not much more of that we can do til next week.
