Maybe I read the story too fast.

Let me get this straight. Velasquez is the only one to open his mouth and tell anyone that something might be wrong with Life At Ten. And he\'s the one that gets whacked.

As I said at the time, if this had been the fourth race on a Thursday somewhere, the whole thing would have disappeared without a ripple-- it\'s only because it was the BC and somebody stuck a mic in Velasquez\' face that this is a story at all.

Nice message they\'re sending.

My brother can\'t read the Form or a program to save his life, but he definitely has \"the gift\" when it comes to reading horse\'s body language.

Well, he spotted something wrong with Life At Ten that day, before anything was even mentioned on TV.

Like Johnny V., my brother didn\'t call for Pletcher, or do anything else about it, either. Maybe I better tell him to keep quiet it before they fine him ten large, too -- makes about as much sense as fining the jock, doesn\'t it?
