Since it appears that the weather has finally turned here in The Wicked North I figured it was time to come out of hibernation ... I have been paying attention though ... What woke me was \"In Todd we trust\" pre-emptive strike related to the release of the KHRC report. It appears he will be held Blame-less. I guess maybe that\'s the way it should be because in hindsight while anyone who watched the Breeders Cup telecast knew that he knew something was amiss, that was the only race of the year where we would have been privy to that information. Probably happens many many times without us knowing ... Went to the new \"Belmont Simulcast\" recently ... What the ?? comes to mind. A simulcast parlor with precious few tellers and NO RACE CALL. Brilliant!! Kudos to the folks at Saratoga Casino and Raceway for the way they advertise their facility ... The racing is always prominently mentioned ... 133 days till opening day ... What to do with horses making their 1st start of the year in a graded stakes when they already have sufficient earnings??? Can someone enlighten me about TWN dq years ago? Great weekend folks !!
