Does anyone else think this horse is distance limited? First time around 2 turns, two months, and a short price sounds like a play against.

Thoughts?

I\'m more concerned that the 2 NY horses with the best #s, Boys At Tosconova & Uncle Moe, haven\'t beaten much. Also, the sire data on both indicates the sprinters do better than routers. Meanwhile, the top 2 California horses, while slower on paper have been battle & distance tested.  J P\'s Gusto is interesting because after losing to Jaycito, his odds should be decent & Successful Appeal\'s sire stats indicate the horse could improve dramatically on a real dirt surface. I\'m not sure how I\'m playing it yet, but I\'m looking at J P\'s Gusto as my top choice.

much to tough of a race to step out in my opinion. Those 2 have numbers off the charts vs the others. The other Pletcher horse may be around for a piece. A small horizontal wager at best.

I like Jaycito alot in this one.

He is fast, will appreciate the added distance and the race shapes should set up well for him.

We should get a decent price with the heavy money coming in on Pletcher and Dutrow in this one.

One thing that could change my mind on this is if Pletcher\'s horses run lights out on Friday.
