How many wire jobs do you need to know that a track is fast?

I have a fatal flaw as a handicapper and that is that I keep thinking a race lined up with lots of early speed should result in a closer having a shot. Not at SAR today...

Saratoga speed was deadly it seemed for those stakes races..It made me change my entire bet in the Travers to Miners Reserve, at least he took me to the eighth pole @30/1.
