Baffert Loaded for Bear @ Saratoga

Usually when a guy ships from out west to the Spa it is a big-time road game. But I bet Baffert has a pretty good win percentage at Saratoga. He seems to always send in runners that he knows will fit the Spa surface and this has continued even with the shift to Synthetic out West. Maybe even moreso!

Now he comes in not only with three horses but also brings in his jock M. Garcia to ride all three.

All of this on Pacific Classic Day......

Whether intentional or not, it has the added effect of Baffert thumbing his nose at the polycrap. Can\'t wait for more trainers to follow suit.

Baffert has long been outspoken in his disdain for despicable synths. At one time, not now,trainers were admonished for speaking against synths in CALI.Clueless management,a certain prominent vet, and a small group of trainers were trying to stonewall re the synth surface.

Well I\'m not touting any particular horse of his. But he has not been a particularly good play at the Calder Summitt of Speed. There have been some bad draws, bad pace setups and typically overbet runners when name Trainers and Jockeys show up there.  

The horses he has previously sent to the Spa are like a good Euro Shipper. They are ready to RUN......

I know of Baffert\'s prior anti-poly rants. I just like it better when people follow their words with action.

Pulling your good horses out of one of a track\'s signature races is a great \"in your face\" move as far as I\'m concerned...whether Baffert meant it that way or not.
