On the plus side, the results of the Ark Derby and the Bluegrass will probably add value to the KD exotics.  

Can\'t see anyone but Esk, Sidneys Candy, and LAL being lower than around 12-1.

I was very impressed with Super Saver\'s race!!

Someone please show me a 3yo this year that was able to relax early, move into a 1:10 and change and still finish respectably...all this off of one prep race.

I believe Super Saver is as good as Esky.. The only difference is that Esky has gotten gravy fractions to sit on in all of his races, and then peel away from the field.  Super Saver is far more athletic and versatile than Esky, this years \"lock of the century\" whom is almost certaintly assured to come up short on May 1st.  But what has me scratching my head is that the 19-1 winner actually set the pace and held him off.  Unfortunantly, I also think this could be too big of an effort for SS to be ready for May 1st.

The fraudulant synthetic racing surface actually rose its ugly head in this race as well.   Line of David was a complete and total dog on that junk.  He never got tired by it but as the same time was unable to show off his speed.   Sadler got him onto the turf and started to show his speed and develop.  A move to the dirt and we see a powerful performance that was completely masked by synthetics.   It\'s one of the reasons many of us look at Zenyatta\'s performances with a weary eye.  Until she can beat the best horses in the world on dirt, she will be nothing more than Synth-Freak.

You may be right. That was a tough effort by SS but sometimes they grow up off of those. Wish he had the extra week to recover.

I find it interesting that Pletcher was in Lexington with those 2 mules he had in there today.
