Anyone have any idea why Fly Down is not running in this race? I can\'t find any news on his next start. LA Derby maybe? Arkansas? Wood?

Zito already has two in here.

Sounds like they don\'t want to rush Fly Down into the Derby-maybe point him at one of the other legs. Not a high profile owner-so maybe not as much pressure to get there like there would be with Lapenta.

Makes sense. In a chapter 11 proceeding the trustee can call the shots and maybe the no go at Gulfstream can buy some time to finalize the details before the next race.

I like both Radiohead and Miner\'s Reserve, but they have their work cut out for them from those posts. 3-1 and 6-1 a bit low. Game on Dude should get a better trip from the 5 hole; might be a better proposition at 12-1. Soaring Empire looks even better after the draw, but he won\'t be 20-1. I think he was 20-1 ml in that CD stakes race, and opened up at 3-1.

I think that\'s a dangerous assumption--that Lentenor has no shot. While I could almost make a case for every horse in this race, the case for him is that he has run long and when was the last time you saw a horse stay on the front at GP on the turf in January?

Almost never happens until later in the season.

Those Dynaformers are machines at this distance and he seems to has speed, too. I would normally get off a hype horse, but I respect his ability and wouldn\'t be surprised to see him anywhere in the trifecta.
