1-Stephen\'s Got Hope: A real promising colt; I wouldn\'t be surprised if he steps up big-time one of these days. Can probably run all day, too. But why not just break his maiden first before throwing to the wolves??? Is O\'Neill that high on him or does he just think this field isn\'t all that much and why not get some experience and possibly pick up a check?
2-Interactif: Seemed to mature nicely from 2 to 3; I would love to see him sit just behind the speeds for once and make one run. Think he\'s a big threat in here, but he has to relax with all the other speeds in here. Can Bejarano get him to relax???
3-Erbeia: Very nice maiden win, but I\'m doubtful he will blow by these in the same fashion. He will be flying late, however, so we\'ll see if it is enough.
4-American Lion: I always liked this guy, but I\'ll say I was a bit disappointed by his return effort; he simply had no answer in the stretch. Honestly, if you can score with Eoin Harty, you must have a patron saint - very low percentage barn with all million dollar animals - good luck here. Add blinks today and that won\'t help at all with all the other speeds in here. Gotta pass w/apologies to the ROTW analyst.
5-Sidney\'s Candy: Monster win in last, and clearly he\'s the most talented of this bunch by a lot. No reason to think he won\'t stay either, but the one caveat I must throw in is did the last race take too much out of him??? Ran 1:20 for 7 fur on cement/synthetic track??? He might have some physical issues too since he hasn\'t raced much - will also be the favorite. Worth trying to beat???
6-Dave in Dixie: Was running well late and will be closing again if able; he\'s a decent sort, I guess. I\'d say he\'s at the limits of how far he wants to go though.
7-Caracortado: This little guy fools me every time; but, boy, he sure has a big heart. Can stalk and finish, too. All the others have question marks; he doesn\'t. You might even get a decent price again. After his last race his head was bowed like he was ready to go around again. He\'s the workingman\'s, blue-collar special. What are the odds of Paul Atkinson getting two graded wins in the span of a month??? It could happen.

Looks like another speed dual that should help out Caracortado and the 1 and 2 will be flying late down the stretch.  7 would be my key with the 4 weeks off and the 1 and 2 have a good chance to run right behind.

I agree! I just hope he can rate the 2. If you\'re playing supers, I suppose you have to throw 6-Dave in Dixie in there somewhere, too, b/c he\'s the other closer.

Cannot find a speed duel; Sidney should control this one gate to wire.  American Lion figures second best.  As an aside cannot fathom \'cappers using trainers stats on first time blinkers as it is beyond primitive.  A far better measure, since ALL jurisdictions require clearance from the gate crew with the new equipment; is, has the horse worked in them.  In the case of American Lion the best work of his career was this Monday................ blinkers on. bbb

I dont like that 7 point jump second out and the 3.5 last out boring in without ever going distance coming into this race doesnt do it for me at 3 to 1. The Blinkers added to AL will only give him more speed and he will be out there with Sidney up front so they will be going pretty fast and the only way your opinion would be correct is if they both run together around the track and speed holds.  With AL and Interactif being faster (or just as fast) as it is I dont personally expect that to happen.
