Would it be relevant to include two new trainers statistics with filly & mares vs colts.

Considering both react differently to bounces and have different patterns, it might be relevant to see if certain trainers struggle or excel with one of the sexes.

That\'s one of my top considerations regarding trainers.  TGJB, some of those numbers will be very, very strong.
A couple that come to mind:  Gary Sherlock on the Cal circuit, Roy Lerman at TB  I\'ve also had a lot of success with Monte Thomas and fillies first time up with JE Lopez.
There are guys out there who are 0-30 at 6f maiden races, but they may be 6-6 at 6.5 furlong debuts.  There are lots of trainers who just win flat mile races, never win at 1 1/16 or 1 M 70 or 1 and 1/8th.  Just like horses, there are trainers who are \"distance specialists.\"
In most cases, those types are very low profile.  They don\'t win often or at a high percentage, but when they are ready to win, they are very high percentage.
