Considering you need a row boat in Staten Island and more rain predicted, this race may not go on grass. Makram will wear 2 Aluminum Pads, first time, auto toss!

I can\'t remember a GI ever coming off turf, otherwise I wouldn\'t have done this one.

By the way, I did have the 7th at Sar on 8/9 down for review, and I did take off a couple of points after looking at it. That\'s one crazy day with an unbelievable split variant-- no telling what the other guy did.

True, only if the course is deemed unsafe will they take a GR 1 off. If it comes up a real boggy course, you can put the names in a hat and pick one and have as good a chance as by any other method.

Beyer was really sticking with the slow fig he gave Akinite(Little Andy correctly was first to challenge it), until it became obvious that everything running back was moving too far forward from the original fig for it to be correct. Guess you saw it somewhat the same.

I\'ll guess, may be wrong,Rags had Akinite like 15 if they followed the usual method that you described before on these split days. That would be a few lengths off,not bad for $35 bucks.I keep getting s--t from Raggie friends about your stuff when I see these absurdities fairly often from them.

Based on anecdotal (but pretty solid) evidence, there are a whole lot less of those friends to give it to you than there used to be. The clock is ticking, and the Jockey Club deal (and some other joint ventures to come) won\'t be slowing it down any. Tick tock.

Katara, PUlled, Shared - all sires significantly better than others on off-tracks.  I\'ll box these 3.

Hey Shanahan,
I don\'t think the \"off\" in the sire profile is for soft turf.  It is for wet dirt tracks.  Someone please correct me if i\'m wrong.
