J66--

Your post regarding Arson Squad started with the words \"Personally I hate
redboarding...\"

Your post regarding Tale of Ekati included the words \"I don\'t want to redboard,
but...\"

[I did not see any post race coverage of the Jerome in DRF; wonder if Barclay
is pointing TOE to the Cigar Mile].

All sins forgiven if you provide insightful analysis regarding the BC races
which will be run on Turf; I take it as a given that you will provide inciteful
analysis and commentary on the Pro Ride races.

Hope you are kicking butt this year in the arena where the focus is on
gargantuan linemen and swift running backs, but where the games are decided
by placekickers and referees.

Richiebee,

Thanks for pointing out the redboarding.  I feel a bit like Chuckles the Clown, two redboards in a row.  I don\'t feel as bad about the Tale of Ekati redboard though, because I have about 20 postings since late April about the horse, all positive.  I have been on that bandwagon (and losing) since the Derby.

Seeing as I have about zero will power when it comes to skipping big races and events like the Breeders Cup, I will be caving and betting Pro-Ride at Santa Anita on Friday and Saturday for the Breeders CUp (as you predicted when I saw you at Saratoga).  I have even dabbled a bit the last week or so, with smaller bets, because I wanted to get a \"feel\" for betting on the surface, before I step in on BC day.  Have to admit that it seems to be getting a bit easier to find false favorites on the polycrap, like Mini Bhavan and Unbridled Belle, but finding bad favorites is a far cry from finding winners.  Have to admit that Pro-Ride doesn\'t disgust me nearly as much as the Delmar surface.

No more redboarding from me for at least a week......
