Two Stabs in the ROTW--

SOCIETY\'S CHAIRMAN-- not much number power (he would probably have to run his
lifetime best even to be competitive here) but he was narrowly beaten by Rahy\'s
Attorney last Spring. Attfield been good to me at Kee in the past. Looks to kick
off owner Charles Fipke\'s weekend the right way (he has Tale of Ekati in the
Jerome tomorrow).

THORN SONG-- a very good effort in last Spring\'s Makers Mark, a race in which
he led from post 10, only to be outfinished by Kip Deville and Einstein. Beaten
1-1/4 lengths by Red Giant, who came back to set course record at SA. Tepid vote
for a runner whose 3 best LT TG #s have come on turf courses which were not
listed as firm.

Will use these and others in a Pick 3 which begins with a competitive Lanes End
Breeders Futurity and ends with a competitive TCA stakes.

Michael D.

three or four of these could run in the \'2\' range. I\'ll go with Kingship. has valuable tactical speed, gets the 2 hole, and gets Cornelio, who knows how to save ground on turf. his \'2.25\' could be enough at 12-1.

R5 - Nakayama Arashi at 30-1 ml. solid 6f poly runner. paired competitive top last. good post in the large field.

R7 - Majestic Blue (6-1) - one fast 5.5f dirt figure - the type you like to toss in this spot. this is a well bred colt though, from the Sky Classic, Smart Strike family.

R9 - Wild Gams (6-1) - very tough 6f synth runner in against some that haven\'t raced over a synth surface.
