How about Drug Figures?

Surprisingly enough, I cannot find, not even one comment in the DRF or Thorograph's sites, about the recent Kip Deville's total failure in the Woodbine's mile, were he was the heavy favorite, leaving the gate at 1-2 just to finish a very disappointing 5th.

Racing Form's comments were stating that his last five Bayer Figures were better than the best lifetime Bayer of any of his opponents.

The Dutrow trainee, who happens to be a stable mate of another huge favorite who managed to burn millions of betting dollars back in the beginning of the summer failed miserably to defend his (drug earned) reputation and so far I am not aware of any valid excuse.

As time goes on, the game is becoming more and more unpredictable and unbeatable, mainly due the use of drugs (where Kip Deville's trainer seem to be an expert) and of course the huge hidden deals among the racing factors, that never come up to the surface.

After this year's three major upsets that came from the defeat of War Pass, Big Brown and Kip Deville, we can seriously debate about the value of Bayer , Ragozin or Thorograph figures...   By no means, I don't want to challenge the effort and the theoretical background of them, I just want to underline the fact, that based in today's racing conditions,   where drugs is the MAJOR factor for the performance of a horse, instead of speed figures, we probably are in the need of Drug Figures instead.
