Things difficult to believe
There is a Santa Claus.

Immaculate conception.

Big Brown has been given no steroids since leaving Florida.

Rick Dutrow does not know what steroids do, but likes to use them. (Well, the second part is certainly believable.)

The hole in Big Browns left-front hoof is of no concern.

Steroids make no difference in the performance of a horse.

Dutrow is more truthful than O.J. Simpson.

Michael Iavarone is more believable than Dutrow and every bit as misunderstood.

Since it was revealed that the money behind the partnership that owns Big Brown is really a silent investor located in the Virgin Islands, everything about this rather murky operation is now a matter of public record.

Barry Bonds declined an invitation from the New York Racing Association to present the Triple Crown trophy to Big Brown's connections should he win the Belmont but will invest in the proposed IEAH $100-million horse racing hedge fund and offered this advice: Just tell them that the title is not tainted and you don't care what people say.

Unanimous in the belief that Dutrow, Iavarone, et al represent the future of the sport, the entire racing community is solidly behind Big Brown.

We can't wait another year or 10 for a Triple Crown winner rather than swallow the theory that you can separate the horse from the people.
