Read an amazing article in the Times today about an on line gambling site called  Bet Fair that actually sends info about suspicious betting patterns to sports authorities including racing. They supplied info. that assisted the British Gov. in nabbing 9 people including a prominent trainer and jockey in England for race fixing. Amazing- they have such a large site that numbers trends create distinct patterns and aberrations. The article is called: Web Site Puts Focus on the Fix in Sports Bets- it\'s in today\'s sports page. Must give a big shoutout to an agency that\'s doing something concrete to address the issue!
