Richiebee;

\"Chalkles\" - well done! that\'s a keeper.

\"I was an infield drunk in 1976 when Bold Forbes dashed to Derby glory. 32 years
later, on this Saturday, I will be a living room drunk.\"

That\'s progress! Lotta those infield drunks from \'76 don\'t even have living rooms!

\"I now suspect that Eight Belles will run on Saturday unless she draws post 19 or 20\"

She\'s picking 6th, so, give the girl a garden spot.

RICH:

I think you may have been addressing me IN RE Country Star.

Of the 2YOs I saw race last year (most of them), she was simply the most
explosive. Totally subjective, based on my observation.

Reviewing the Oaks, it looks like there is not much pace to set her up, and like
a previous poster stated, the filly on the rail (Golden Doc A)might try to steal
the race under Kent D. (Golden Doc A another who has no main track experience).

I think Country Star will be less than 4-1.

I like four others better. Pure Clan and Proud Spell followed by Little Belle and Bsharpsonata.

Gun to my head I\'ll key Pure Clan. (Not certain that will be my bet due to the post.)

Interesting posts.

To my eye the speed is parked wide, which leads me to believe Tagg may send his to maintain position. They are both capable of it.

Cool Coal Man sure has been lucky pulling that 1 hole hasn\'t he?

I could see Big Brown getting strung a little wider than they\'d like, but it is a longish run to the first turn.

I think the horse hurt most is Gayego and he apparently didn\'t look smart this morning.

Chuckles:

Frankel has been pointing Country Star to this race all year. She was off nearly 4 months going into the Ashland where she had gate problems at even money. That race was a \"no-go\" for her.

She\'s sitting on \"go\" for the Oaks. Please take another look at her 4/19 work. She did her first 3 furlongs in 38, followed by 2 furlongs in 22 and  capped it  off with a gallop out in 12 1/5. This was a hidden gem of a work.

Just some food for thought.
