Another California Horse off the Derby Trail

As Georgie Boy is now added to the list of California horses that are off the derby trail due to injury, I have to wonder how much this synthetic stuff is helping injuries, which is supposed to be the driver of why tracks are switching to it.

Granted, none were of the awful fatal variety, but nonetheless that is a list of horses that were possible contenders.
