Good luck to the 36 on-line Thoro-Graph customers who qualified for this years DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship. Also good luck to the smaller number who entered the World Series contest. And to those hardy souls who entered both, you are nuts, and make sure you know where the Infirmary is. Just handicapping 5 (?) tracks and keeping track of post times in different time zones while playing the NTRA contest for 2 days last year almost put me in the hospital.

The scoreboard on NTRA.com is several races behind, but as of an hour ago we had several people in the top 40. My feeling is that the last at FG shook things up after that-- it\'s the kind lots of people could have (3rd fastest going in, $30).

Two of ours in the top ten at the end of day one, several other seasoned vets within range with a big day. Big fields tomorrow, will be interesting.

My Take on Red Rock Sports Book, I\'ve been there Twice this year already, First when they had the Handicapping earlier of the Year. and Wednesday for the Last Chance tournament. it is an Improvement since they added the lamp light at the Tables,for the players to see better, for the tourney they had on Wed. which was the last chance, it was like a zoo, no cordon off for players and regular Horse players, it was a mix of Horse players, tourney Players and Sports Bettors. people come and go. Handicapping the Thorograph thru my Lap top was great till I came back to my seat and found out my Lap top was gone. called security right away. and I was told, yeah somebody took your lap top and it was on tape and he was out the door and gone. and for the Sorry Ass security of Red Rock, if I can make a suggestion.
1. Cordon off Tournament
2. Name badges for Players
3. Security for the Players ( Not Security for Interest of the Casino )
