In your opinions, who is the top 5 in the big apple? Also, who is the most underrated and unappreciated? Please feedback

miff

Assuming you mean the New York regulars:

Garrett Gomez is presently the best rider in NY and the country, imo.

Johnny V who is STILL recovering from last years fall(he and Prado are interchangable, imo)

Edgar Prado is the iceman, terrific all around.

C. Velasquez(still under the radar, terrific rider, most underrated)

E. Coa in spite of the fact that he has a \"chip\" on each shoulder, he can ride.

Miff,

Thanks 4 the feedback. Not exactly sure what you mean regarding Coa.

Michael D.

1. Gomez
2. Castellano (underrated, especially on turf)
3. JR (not back to old form yet)
4. Cornelio
5. Prado

also note Desormeaux has been running a very high ROI recently. seems like the crowd got a bit too negative on Kent.

Thanks for the feedback

MO

Edgar Prado.

The rest are running for 2nd money.

Lost Cause

Summertime:

1 & 2 (interchangeable) Garret Gomez & Johnny V.
3 Edgar Prado - not too far behind top two(great on turf)
4 Cornelio Velasquez (underrated...underrated)
5 Interesting... Desormeaux and Castellano seem to always make mistakes lately..I guess I would still rather have either one than the rest thata re riding..

Winter:

1 & 2 (interchangeable) Eibar Coa , Ramon Dominguez
3 & 4 (interchangeable) Alan Garcia, Norberto Arroyo
5 Whatever Apprentice is riding good during the meet..

This is the most overrated aspect of the game.  IMO there is NO difference between the top 10 on the major circuits.  Having sad that, Edgar Prado has a wicked sense of pace – probably the best in the game.

Alan Garcia, dangerous on all kinds but especially deep closers or turnbacks.

Jose Espinoza (currently sidelined) is an underrated turf rider.
