Race 12 in the analysis..............the Preakness

Chuckles_the_Clown2

What is there to explain? TGraph played the Top 3 to all bounce. Gutsey play, if it works they get big balloons. Well, sort of, I think they left C.P.West out.

They made that play in Giacomos Derby is what I seem to recall. Afleet Alex, Bandini, Greeley\'s Galaxy and Bellamy Road were all coming in with Career Tops and Tgraph left them out. I don\'t remember TGraph coming up with Giacomo or Closing Argument but they did rule out all the Top Fig horses.

The only problem I have with their strategy is that they were counting upon a big effort from King of the Roxy and that was never gonna happen.

Chuckles, I\'m betting real money and not looking for some crazy shit play. Whoever came up with this play needs to go to time out for the rest of the year. This may be the dumbest play in history. This will not go away.........

   The head man on the Rag Board also gave a tepid vote to KOTR.

   I did not select the winner of the Preakness, but never took KOTR too
seriously. I assumed that this was Businessman Barry Irwin\'s way of keeping
the Team Valor colors in the national spotlight.

   I think some folks may have been impressed by KOTR\'s second in Tiago\'s SA
Derby and Tiago\'s subsequent strong gallop out in the Ky Derby. That gallop out
will be mentioned ad infinitum with regards to Tiago\'s chances in the Belmont;
my opinion of horses who show so much energy after the Finish Line is that they
have been either improperly trained (this includes being entered at the wrong
distance) or improperly ridden (or both).
