Derby Undercard

The Derby is great and it is a unique betting opportunity, but a good selection or two on the undercard is almost always my barometer for Derby day success or failure.

I love Price Tag (GB) in the 6th on Saturday. She is a Pick-3/Pick-4 single for me. I\'ll spread wide in the surrounding races, playing all logical contenders, and hope to get an overlay or two home. I believe this is my best shot to maximize value in a situation like this (low-priced horse that I love and judge to be an overlay at 5-to-2, for example.)

I envision the public siding with Lady of Venice and more importantly taking tons of money in the multi-race bets.
