Ok, Alex Solis said after the race yesterday that Magnificience is the best horse he\'s ever ridden! If anyone has seen her races, you\'d be hard-pressed to argue -- take a look at her replays.

She got something like a 2 on T-G\'s for her first race, and I\'d be surprised if she didn\'t go into negative numbers yesterday.

The scary thing is she\'s got these giant long legs and yesterday the fractions were 21.4, 44, 108 114.3 for six and a half furlongs, and she barely broke a sweat.

Got to hand it to Bruce Headly -- he plucked her from the sales ring for 120K -- he could probably sell her for 5 or 10 million today. He\'s just one of the last of the old breed (hay and oats) trainers, not a CEO or Pharmacist. I love it when guys like Headly pay 120K for a killer, and these dudes pay millions and millions for horses that are lucky to ever win a race.

I just wonder what\'s next for this filly -- I guess he\'s gotta stretch her out just because of the way she looks, but you\'d have to believe she\'d win the Breeder\'s Cup sprint with ease just on her numbers now! A great dilemma to have, right? It couldn\'t happen to a nicer trainer and jockey for that matter. Solis is in the twilight of his career, he doesn\'t get many good mounts anymore, but he\'s got one now.

Both races were spectacular!
Headley says she will be better once she stretches out...

Certainly she\'s an incredible animal.I am curious to know her TG #\'S.
However, running her against older male sprinters would be a monumental error.
