New Pricing Policy

Okay, first you got Santa (free data), now you get the Grinch. My view has always been to keep prices down to expand the overall market (it\'s worked), so we\'ve held the line on prices since we started this site in 97, while everything around us has gone up (we\'re looking at a 20% rent increase right now). But the time has finally come.

We\'re going to keep the top price at $25 for now. What we are doing is changing the multiple product pricing, starting Jan 1-- the second item will now be $20, the subsequent ones $15 each. Prices for individual races will stay the same, as will the cap of $120 daily. Frankly, even aside from providing the most accurate ratings available, the additional data makes us a huge bargain compared to anything else out there. But the plan is still to expand the market, so we\'re not raising the top price.

We have an awful lot planned for this year, if our management team (me) has the time and energy to execute it all. New products, new deals for hosemen, strategic alliances-- stay tuned.
