Barry Irwin

Son of BC Mile winner Spinning World named Visonario will win the 2yo race at Longchamp.

BTW, 1:23 for about 7 furlongs at Longchamp sucks. Juveniles have run in 19 and change that can run.

Barry,

battle paint ran 1:23 and received a 107 timeform rating.

you\'ve been around the game long enough to know that for a two year old in his second start, those numbers don\'t suck.

but yes, well all know they can put up some fast numbers there. frankel\'s overbet runner in today\'s bel feature went 1:18 something there ....

thanks for the info though on the other colt, and good luck with your BC contenders. you have a few live ones, hope they run well.

regards,

michael

these two guys run one/two at longchamp ($53 exacta).

holy roman emperor was extremely impressive. he handled the good turf very well, sometimes a sign that a horse will take to dirt. not so sure with danehill on top, but again, there is some dirt breeding on bottom.

battle paint also ran very well. he is bred well for the dirt.

would love to see one or both of these colts give the BC a shot, although i have not heard of any plans out of the connections.

marcus

i\'d say h r e was a monster + seemed like he had more , very strong & sound . providing the horse comes out of the
longchamp race well , it probably would be only a traction problem that would stop him over here ...

excellent article.

now that horse greeley has gone down, i\'m going to look to this race for the BC winner.

circular quay still looks like a nice horse to me; the rather average looking performance on saturday could be blamed on the poly. still, i don\'t like taking low odds on a horse that has to come from out of the clouds, especially one that has yet to excel going two turns.
