spa:  Shanahan,I left before reading any posts.True story, Wild Gams looked very unhappy going to the post. she was such a value at 9/1,I doubled my bet. Ouch!
I was at Del Mar the first of the week,stayed at the Del Mar Inn. Had a super meal at the Fish Market next to the track. Beware of sticker shock..a draft beer was $8. At the Del Mar Inn, breakfast is delivered to your room.

P-Dub: Spa,

Had dinner at the Fish Market after Opening Day, my swordfish was delicious although the sides could have been better.  Hot bread, huge salad.   I drank beer all day at the track and got tired of paying through the nose for beer, so I had a cold iced tea.

I\'m going back Labor Day weekend and will be there for the Del Mar Derby. I need a suggestion for dinner and would like to try a different resaturant. Any suggestions anyone???

RICH: Why pay threw the nose for beer? Bring your own cooler in full of any beer you want. I been doing it for 30 yrs. One of the few great perks of the NYRA. W
