discreet cat .....

i have thought of forestry\'s as more miler types than 10f horses, and DC has the build of that type of horse. if you look at the bottom of his pedigree though, there\'s a good chance this guy just keeps on going.

broodmare sire is private account, no explanation needed. further back you get the long winded mahmoud, princequillo, and war admiral genes from a number of different sources. his dam was able to get 10f, and if the race today was 10f, my guess is DC would not have had a problem.

now, taking low odds in a 20 horse field is a different story, especially when the colt will likely be facing adversity for the first time, but this is one interesting race horse.

Thanks for the pedigree breakdown Michael D. I didn\'t need morning coffee after a late night out when I turned on TVG and saw this race. It was a real eye-opener.

I looked at the pedigree on the bottom and had questions which you just answered. Thanks.

This horse has a ram the front feet in the ground style and got a little washy coming home. Didn\'t beat much either but if you needed a designer prep for the Ky Derby you just got it. Lot to ask coming over here with only three races, one a 2yo sprint but I hope they bring him.

Now there are 10,001 horses with a chance to win the Ky Derby.

Actually, 9,987 Throw out All of Deewayne\'s ponies and it gets a little easier to handicap.

Simon Crisp(t) says he\'s a miler at best...either he\'s keeping it as quiet as he can, or everyone who watched it has a new derby favorite...
