This seems like a wide open race to me.

Any inside scoop on Super Frolic?

I watched the BC Classic again last night to review his trip and he appeared to lose a good five lengths at the start. Would have been very tough to win a race of that magnitude after rushing up along the inside and then having to wait for room.

If he\'s a price, I will play him to win and key him 1st-2nd with Suave, Magna, Brass Hat and On Thin Ice.

JB flew to Florida today and will be at GP for The Donn. I, personally, know no more than what\'s published.

IBRED,

lets face it the horse fits on paper, so does Suave and Magna(zito entry). Not sure you\'re going to get big odd\'s in this one. 4-1 to 6-1 would be the range , but I\'m betting this one will be bet. Ran Big in last two and last the biggest of all he had excuses, so angle betters will be playing. horse also fired a bullet work so he seems to be ready to race.

I have not printed out the sheets yet, so no comment on Sheet\'s angle yet.

Alan, is this race of the week?

The Strub Stakes is the race of the week. It\'s already up.

I\'d take 5-1 or higher on Super Frolic.

I hate the Zito entry so that should provide value right there if the DRf poll is any indication of the action (Andromeda as co-fav).

I lke Suave too if they let him go at 5-1 or more.

Just wondering why tou picked the Strub Stakes?

TGAB

JB likes to pick races which TG data identify factors that maybe the conventional handicapping material overlook, don\'t regard or don\'t have.

Certainly the TG figure history for Greeley\'s Galaxy together with the trainer pattern for Mel Stute accentuate the likelihood that this horse is gaining condition and figures to fire his best shot either today or next time out.

That\'s one example but there are lots of others as well.

I think its now or never for Super Frolic in terms of a Grade 1.I suspect this race has been the only objective since the BC Classic.

Cerin worked him seven times at SA and then ships cross country where he fires a 4f bullet over the GP strip. Those screws are tightened.He\'s probably at his absolute best for this race while some of the others-(Suave,Magna Graduate) may be using this as a starting point for the campaign.I think the connections want this Grade 1 for breeding purposes, and at 6 you have to wonder how long he can crank out the big efforts needed to be competitive in a G1.

This is not an easy field, but if Cornelio can work out a trip this horse should be tough. With a good clean break and a little racing luck maybe Jerry gets his picture taken late tomorrow afternoon.

Unfortunately Super Frolic in perfect position off the leaders (who ran rediclous early fractions) had absolutely no run. Maybe he didn\'t like the going or he just wasn\'t ready as the workouts indicated. No excuse in my book.

High Limit was very impressive in his win rating off the early runners going wide both turns and winning going away.
