Jean Cruguet Interview

In a recent interview, Cruguet told Thoroughbred Times that SEATTLE SLEW was not the best horse he ever rode. That honor,he says, goes to HOIST THE FLAG who earned his glamorous resume as a 2yo.  

Cruguet goes on to say that HOIST THE FLAG could have beaten SECRETARIAT going long which is something SEATTLE SLEW,who ran one of the great 1 1/2 races of all time in defeat to EXCELLER,could not.....yikes!!!!
