Just thought some of you might want to know that those of us who have been debating the underlying assumptions in figure-making methodology, discussing the proper approach to take in statistical analysis, those of us who hold Ph.D\'s and other advanced degrees, are familiar with Six Sigma and other similar disciplines apparently are prepared to bash the work of other figure-makers in a biased fashion, wouldn\'t understand the arguments and issues involved in figure-making, and would not appreciate intelligent posts about these subjects from certain posters.

Who will spare us from further nonsense from this meddlesome poster?

Yeah. That post by CH (on the other board) came damn close to getting him barred here (finally). Especially since neither CH, nor the ones who own that board, nor the others that post there, EVER deal with the underlying issues about figure making.

But I do have to say that CH\'s earlier post advising Friedman what to say defending his figures-- advocating theories that are directly contrary to what those guys believe in-- was a comedy classic of self absorbtion. Can\'t imagine what Len thought when he read that.

Nevertheless, CH is living on borrowed time here.
