just saw the tail end of a thorograph ad on tvg --- who\'s that chick in there?
she\'s awfully familiar.

TGJB

She probably won\'t enjoy being called a chick, but Rochelle is the wife of the guy in the ad (Jim McCaffrey), a friend of mine who was in Truth About Cats And Dogs, a bunch of indies, and the lead in Viper and Swift Justice on TV. She was raising their kid for the last 5 years, but is starting now to get work on her own. The characters in the ad are based on characters in a script I wrote, and am still trying to get made (getting closer). There are 2 other ads of ours which Rochelle is in, but TVG won\'t run them (not as good production value). They can be seen on some of the local OTB channels.

thanks.

just saw the last couple seconds.

I don\'t think I\'ve seen any of that stuff you mentioned -- what\'s her last name?
I want to look her up on imdb.
maybe I saw one of her indies.

superfreakicus

is it a secret?

ps

what\'s your script about, and what prompted you to write it?

superfreakicus

hey --- would you delete that bigass patent thread?

superfreakicus

you probably didn\'t see this way down there...

TGJB

Her husband (Jim McCaffery) was the one in the shows and films I mentioned. I don’t know what name she goes under, and she only has a couple of credits.

Short answer – horse racing. Long answer is much longer. Prompted by quality of current films, lack of any good racing films, knowledge if I didn’t do it now I never would.

superfreakicus

will it be as funny as Let it Ride?

TGJB

Let It Ride is a light comedy about the idiom of the track. Mine is about the modern world of racing (at Saratoga), among other things. I met the guy who produced Let It Ride and told him he did my industry a disservice. He got upset. On blaance it\'s good, for what it is.

How did this flick do a dis-service ?

When RD was kneeling while praying for the photo to come back his way I definietly
related.  There isn\'t one of us who hasn\'t been in that spot before.

If its a legitimate photo finish. I always assume I\'ve lost. It shouldn\'t have come down to a photo anyway...lol.

I loved Let It Ride. I lived 4 miles from Hialeah when it was filmed. It\'s too bad Brunetti let his ego get in the way of what was best for the finest track in America. It\'s a little hard to get to, but what a beautiful place it was.
