hi jerry

you had mentioned that the track cusion was deeper today than when secreteriat ran.

would you have any idea what the cusion was when ciation ran in the 40\'s or man o\' war ran in the 20\'s?

or how i could find out?

thanks

high roller-- I think your best shot is a letter or e-mail to the NYRA track superintendent\'s office. They do keep records, I don\'t know how far back they go. Let us know what you find.

Try extension 3277, ask for Jerry Porcelli, mention my name. He is now an assistant there, he\'s your best shot.

hi jerry

i spoke with jerry porchelli (great guy) and he was stumped on the cushion for the 20\'s thru 40\'s.

i will travel at some point to the keenland library and will let you know if i find anything out.
