Looks like a form of rematch

So the Matt Winn Sunday is my favorite race of the week. Not the Belmont, but have amends to make and will tackle it too.

Matt Winn

Gaming - Got outfooted by my Macho Music.  His pace was not pace enough. But he drew the rail, has some pace and its only 8.5 marks.  Concerning, but I have my faith in the Kentucky Blood Bank Lab. I think they are watching Captain Silver Vet like a hawk watches a field mouse nibbling a wheat ear.  They are ready to POUNCE and when they get him next time, It\'s Dutrow time.  So I think he\'s likely playing fair.  Do you think the Silver Vet can really play fair in Kentucky and excel?  I don\'t.

Final Gambit - This horse is gonna take a TON of money off that fantastic Derby run. Finished best of all these. BET WITH BOTH HANDS.....bet early...bet often...bet late...bet like the mortgage depends upon it. You can\'t miss a once in a lifetime chance like this. Its now or never. Opportunity only knocks once and whats that?...  What is that noise?

Chunk a Bullets - Working Bullets at Turfway......BULLETS. Fast bullets...AR-15 bullets. Ok, that\'s a little tongue in cheek, but he has not been all that bad.

Just a Fair Shake - Bet this horse on Preakness Day. Not here though.  Nay Nay.

The Whitham Horse - I been waiting for this day. These are the days we\'ve been waiting for. I wanted more marks. I wanted more Black Type. I wanted a bigger field and all the Triple Crown hype.  I got some of what I wanted here, but not all of it. (Even forgot the Belmont was at the Spa this year.) But in some ways, this is the candy that everybody wants. Wanted a rematch and here it is, granting more second flight than triple crown.

Coal Battle - He\'s going to appreciate the slight cutback here. Feel this is his best distance. The best human-interest story this year. That trainer is pure poetry. As a realist, don\'t believe he moved too early in the Arkansas Derby. Began his move about the same time Sandman did. He wasn\'t gonna do much with Sandman by waiting.

East Avenue - Oh lord, hear my prayer. Lay not a peeble before this horse\'s path. Let the track be firm like your word. Let the stewards and the chemists keep a vigilant eye upon the scoundrel that is unkind to your beasts. Let the race be fair and fast, if it is your will. Amen.
