Trainer Bob Baffert is not known for putting female horses over. Yeah, he\'s had a few but by and large his success has been with the Colts. To further complicate this story try and remember the last turf race winner he trained.

Well, Bullet Bob has \"Du Jour\" entered into the BC Mile this weekend. While Du Jour\'s last two winning and trafficked races show this gelding has never been better ya gotta know he\'s in deep.

This race has been the domain of Euro-Freaks whose late burst would seem capable of lighting the cigarettes of railbirds. This year two Samurai challenge the Euros-Freaks.

Easily overlooked Baffert\'s charge is languishing down with the expected also-rans of the Chadster(?) and Cherie DeVaux at healthy double-digit morning line odds. Any one of those three runners could win a top-tier U.S. race at this distance and surface.

Except the BC mile I guess.
