Clapton being pointed to Breeders\' Cup Classic:

I find this move interesting.

Must have a nice looking \"Sheet,\" after winning the Lukas Classic, if they\'re pointing for the Breeders\' Cup.

The only problem is that dirt horses shipping to California, for the Breeders Cup, rarely run well relative to their top. I\'m assuming CLAPTON needs a new top to win.

I\'m a fanboy of horse, and trainer. Good luck, Chad.

The connections must think he\'s the Cream of the crop-must have Blind Faith in him.  Personally I think they\'re high on Cocaine or some sort of Strange Brew.  In any case the horse seems to be at the Crossroads of his career.  My opinion - if he runs in the BC Classic, he won\'t finish the race until After Midnight.

I\'m just reading between the lines. This is what the trainer told the DRF:

“He is just thriving out of the [Lukas] Classic. He came out of the race better than he went in”

\"We think it\'s the right opportunity for the way the horse is going and how he\'s doing”

In other words:

We think he\'s primed to run a new top sometime soon.

How could you not work Layla in there somehow?

I probably would have if CLAPTON was trained by John Shirreffs.

But no, ... it Chad Summers-time to shine. ;-)

I Feel Free to reply to your comment - I tried, no luck.  Very difficult.

They would be better off running ERIC Clapton.

Good Luck,
