HP: As I recall, this was a HUGE race for this horse (a negative number?). HP

jbelfior: I remember the day they led HIGHWAY PROSPECTOR into the saddling stall at Belmont Park (it was Belmont Stakes day last year).

The horse nearly tore the place down and his eyes reminded you of a wild stallion in a Western movie.


The horse was bucking and kicking and a few of us let it be known vocally how we were rooting for Shuman to be on the receiving end of one of those kicks.
