The filly can beat me at a short price. I\'m gonna take a shot with DOPPELGANGER.

He showed some impressive speed in the San Vicente trying to stay close to FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. In the San Felipe they decided to come from out of it. Today I think they will show more speed ... at least I hope they do.

A new top and a better trip could be enough to beat the filly.

You may be right, but several of Baffert\'s horses (and mostly favorites) have recently run off the board outside the SoCal jurisdiction.

Was he helping them less while under scrutiny?  Oaklawn would be one place that he has had to be extra careful....no?

I don\'t have the sheets for Oaklawn so I sure am curious if the Cyberknive\'s line could be considered a recovery pattern? I see he\'s currently @ 6/1 so not under the radar.

A recovery to what? He has five lifetime starts. ;-)

Recovering past his 1st race.  AOK, I\'ll play him and check the redboard room tomorrow.

You\'re hot. Who ya got in the next race? :-)

I haven\'t looked yet but I will and share my thoughts. I already expect something surprising in an unnecessary race. Often they end with the feature.

Giovanni Franco seems to have gotten comfortable here. He had at least one winner earlier today. He\'s riding the #7 Bellamy\'s Roan. M/l 3/1 and now 8/1. Next out maiden winners are often questionable plus he doesn\'t look quick enough to take the lead he wants.

Trainer Broberg has been especially tough this year and his #4 I\'m a Bling Cat s/b in the middle of it from the get-go.

Hoping the #7 can learn to pass horses or start faster I like the 4/7 ebx.

The #3 probably regresses but it\'s trained by Asmussen so could be included.

Good Luck - still kinda expect a bomb from ?

My thinking here was terrible. I apologize. I overlooked the top two finishers who figured very capable. It is No solace that most everybody overlooked them also.
