We\'ll never know this, but it begs to ask the question - would they suspend Baffert if MS had won the Preakness and would be going for the Triple Crown?

We\'ll see what the conviction in Racing is if Bobby is confirmed to have violated Drug Policy with the same drug on consecutive year Derby Weekends.

He looks like a shady character, doesn\'t he?

I am curious how this will play out.  As I understand it, Baffert\'s NY horses have already been running out of John Terranova\'s barn, although in Baffert\'s name.  Will the owners of horses like Charlatan and Gamine move them to Terranova if they want to run in NY, and how will that be received?

The grade 1-winning Charlatan, owned by SF Racing, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables, Stonestreet Stables, Fred Hertrich III, John Fielding, and Golconda Stables, has not raced since finishing second in the $20 million Saudi Cup Feb. 20.

\"The plan has been to run in the Met Mile,\" said Jack Wolf, founder and managing partner of Starlight Racing. \"Tom Ryan (of SF) is the managing partner and he will have to sit down with Bob and the rest of us to see if we want to run in the Met Mile and how it would be best accomplished. If Bob is suspended, we probably would have to find a different trainer to handle him, but that’s not a decision for me to make.[/i]\"

This could be the beginning of something good.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned it but in the Sunday Times there was a tidbit about Baffert saying he hired a Dr. Hore to ensure compliance after numerous messes. Last week Baffert’s lawyer admitted the doctor had never been hired.

So many rejoinders, so little time.

Shaking my head -- again. Bob\'s credibility is gone. He blames Covid for the good doctor Michael Hore being unable to perform the promises he made after another positive. Such BS.

Lifted from Paulick Report --
In November of 2020, trainer Bob Baffert announced that he was retaining Dr. Michael Hore of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute to “add an additional layer of protection to ensure the well-being of horses in my care and rule compliance.”

Hore is based in Lexington, Ky., while Baffert\'s operation is based in Southern California. Hore is not licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of California. The state\'s database also contains data on expired/inactive licenses, and he does not appear to have ever had a veterinary license there. Veterinarians are permitted to consult on cases without being licensed in the state, but cannot do diagnostics or perform any treatment.

So -- no qualified vets IN CALIFORNIA, Bob. Such ____. I will be pleasant and say \"nonsense\" or \"BS\". You fill in the blank. So insulting for anyone with a brain that works properly.
