P-Dub: The GREAT Dick Enberg, always lends a touch of class to any event he worked.

Dave Johnson, Pete Axthelm, Harvey Pack.....that awesome BC music. And that\'s just The first 3 minutes.

Oh I wish I were in my 20s again.

Thinking I would settle for being in my 40s again.

Those names bring back many memories. Axthelm\'s \"The Kid\" an outstanding book
about Affirmed/Laz Barrera/Steve Cauthen. Pack\'s 1/2 hour NYRA wrap up shows were
must see TV. Today we got hockey players and figure skaters.

May the horse be with you.

statuette: You want to know what’s sad the people who are young in 35 years looking fondly on these years meaning being young now not such a good thing

ajkreider: I don\'t know about that.  Part of the joy of youth is the newness of the world.  An older person in a younger person\'s body would just be a cynic w/o the joint pain.

Boscar Obarra: While there is truth to that , I\'d trade the joy of naivety for the better outcome , not that the outcome has been bad.

Kinda like saying, you don\'t want tomorrows newspaper , because you want to be \'surprised\'.

Part of the magic of life\'s journey is learning things.

Thats like reading an entire movie review before you go watch the film. Why bother going to the movie??

And unless tomorrow\'s paper included the winner in the 5th, or something that would provide massive profits, I don\'t want that either.
