Kudos to TGJB for the call on Authentic.

I was watching the Churchill feed, not the NBC broadcast.  The scroll on the Churchilll feed showed front glue-on shoes as a change for Tiz the Law.  I did not hear the talking heads mention it.  Did they say anything on NBC about whether it was really a change and, if so, what caused it?

Handle on both the Derby and the undercard was down almost 50% from last year.

TGJB: We were up (record handle) my understanding is NYRA One was too. CD does a bunch on track when 150k people are there many of them both loaded and loaded.

boardedup: I saw the same thing in the book earlier in the day, but I watched the race from the house, I didn’t catch them mention it once in the ~hour between the Forrester & the derby.

TempletonPeck: Wouldn\'t think it had that big an impact, but no one in NV put a dollar through the pari-mutuel pools as CDI and the casinos couldn\'t reach detente this year.
