Via SA Twitter:

The opening day of Santa Anita’s 83rd season will be postponed two days until Saturday, December 28th, ahead of next week’s declining weather forecast.

Fairmount1

Someone asked FrankD why he doesn\'t post much anymore.

If you see how few people actually read the posts, it is depressing.

But if you would have actually READ my prior post...you would have already learned this.  As miff would say:  BRILLIANT.

And this from one of the few decent regular posters remaining.

P-Dub

You posted it an hour before he did.

Was the guy supposed to read the entire board before posting??

Reading the MOST previous post is such an effort LOL

P-Dub taking the Mike Smith WIDE RIDE again...Good work

Fairmount1 taking the tired and lame Mike Smith comment to new heights, or lows as the comment makes zero sense. Dude just randomly inserts a pathetically lame Mike Smith \"joke\".

Again, sorry if we all don\'t rush to read the brilliant woks of the almighty Fairmount.

Congrats on being the first to report the SA delay. I\'m sure ESPN will run your byline on their ticker

Fairmount1 - let me apologize as I did read your post prior to posting the postponement of SA. In my mind, I was just confirming what you said parenthetically in your post about hearing SA was postponing opening day. In my haste, I just threw it together with a direct quote from the track on Twitter - I should have said something like \"Confirming what Fairmount1 posted earlier, SA officially announced they were postponing opening day to the 28th.\" I also thought that making it a separate thread with its own headline would reduce the number of people who ask on Christmas day when are the PP\'s for SA tomorrow going to up? Sorry about that.

Everybody’s on edge around the holidays...

Take a breath, guys.

The guy treats breaking news like he\'s Adam Schefter. I didn\'t know that giving proper credit to the guy who breaks industry news was so important. My bad.
