Interesting and figures to be double digit odds.

Anyone buying Gargan\'s story that he stepped on a rock after his last work which prompted the we may not run comment??

Good Luck,

I like him and he will be on my Tix.
Especially since he was on a lot of my derby tickets

I liked him some going into the derby, at least before it was guaranteed to come up wet.  All things considered he had a pretty good trip on the inside and just didn’t run at all.  Not sure how much of the X was surface related compared to three straight big efforts leading in?  He hasn’t lit it up in the mornings since either which, in my opinion, has more to do with the noncommittal-committal than any “rocks.”

He should get the distance & projects to be forwardlly placed.  If he’s rounded himself back  ginto form there’s a bunch to like.  But the lack of conviction from the trainer makes me a bit nervous.

I listened to the Danny Gargan interview on Steve Byk\'s show.  I suppose there\'s a risk of being persuaded by trainer-speak, but the fact that Tax switched to glue-on shoes after the work interested me.

Why did it interest you? What\'s the advantage?

Is Danny typically a coy trainer when he speaks to the media?

I have read that glue-on shoes move some horses up. Below is an example from an interview with a farrier:

DUDES:  Have you ever seen a good horse turned bad or a bad horse turned good solely because of the shoes he/she is wearing?

VON HEMEL:  I can’t give you a specific example but I have heard stories that gluing on Polyflex shoes has helped horses tremendously.  Another way I look at it is that people are using them and becoming more popular so they must be doing some good.
