Fatal Breakdowns

Does anyone know if there are any good studies that compare the rate of fatal breakdowns between the US and Europe? Between Grass and Dirt in the US? By Class of horse on each surface? All of those would be interesting factors to look at. I’m sure the data exists and I would be surprised if someone hasn’t looked at each of those in some sort of statistical analysis.
