can anyone offer insight to the Grand Union Motel?
Walking distance to track?  Just for me and the wife?  Safe,....

miff: Saratoga, in my 30 years, is very safe. The motels are decent. I believe that motel is on Broadway in town, which is always very alive and busy. Good luck!!!

Michael D.: about 1 mile from the back entrance ($3 cab ride, don\'t drive). nice, clean motel, i would say very safe. tough to get a room on the w/e\'s though. a very nice italian restaurant right down the road, on the right side as you walk towards the middle of town (sorry, i forgot the name).

miff: I think the restaurant is Chianti\'s.
